Terms of Service
Last updated July 7, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Caboodle. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them, and our Privacy Policy, carefully.
1. The service
Caboodle lets you catalog items you own, optionally store them in our Depot, share them with people you choose, and request their return. Some features are free; storage and other services are paid plans described on our Pricing page.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Caboodle.
- Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Caboodle to store, share, or transport:
- Illegal items, stolen goods, or anything you don't have the right to store;
- Hazardous, perishable, flammable, or living things;
- Firearms, explosives, or regulated substances.
We may refuse, return, or remove items that violate these terms or applicable law.
4. Storage, pickups, and deliveries
Paid storage plans include a set number of monthly pickups and deliveries and have a 3-month minimum, as described at checkout. You're responsible for accurately describing items and for being available at your scheduled window. Items are cataloged and photographed on intake. You retain ownership of everything you store. Caboodle holds it as a service and never takes title to your belongings.
5. Payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor. Move-in fees, overage charges, and extra-visit fees are described on the Pricing page and at checkout. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the plan and any fees you incur.
6. Care of your items and liability
We take care of your things and insure them in transit and at the Depot. To the extent permitted by law, Caboodle's liability for loss of or damage to stored items is subject to the coverage and limits described in your plan and any applicable claims process. Contact us promptly if you believe an item was lost or damaged, and we'll work with you to make it right.
7. Sharing and content
You keep ownership of the photos and details you add. By sharing an item, you grant the people or groups you share with permission to view it within Caboodle. You're responsible for the content you upload and for having the right to share it.
8. Cancellation and termination
You can close your free account at any time. For paid storage, you may cancel after the plan minimum and schedule a final delivery to retrieve your belongings. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep Caboodle reliable, but we don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Caboodle evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Caboodle after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
